What is THCP and why is it described as so powerful?

I thought I knew my cannabinoids. THC, HHC, Delta-8 – I'd tried them all. But then I heard about THCP . 33 times stronger than THC? Sounds crazy. Of course, I had to try it. I got myself a THCP vape, sat down on my couch, and took a careful puff. Just once. Better safe than sorry.

What does the effect of THCP feel like?

The first few minutes? Nothing. I was already thinking, "Is that all there is?" But then – BAM!

  • My head felt light and full at the same time. My thoughts were clearer than usual.
  • My eyes began to perceive light more intensely. Everything seemed a little brighter.
  • My body felt heavy. Not unpleasant, but definitely no longer willing to move much.
  • My heart beat a little faster, but not uncomfortably. I just noticed that something was different compared to regular THC.

THCP is not a "I'll just quickly smoke and go shopping" cannabinoid. It was more intense. Slower, but deeper.

How long does the effect of THCP last?

I'm used to a THC high slowly wearing off after two to four hours. THCP? Nope.

  • First wave: After 30 minutes I was fully immersed.
  • Peak: After an hour, I felt it couldn't get any more intense.
  • Duration: After six hours I was still high – and not just a little bit.
  • Afterglow: Even the next morning, my head still felt a little "soft." Not a hangover, but a slight fog.

Lesson learned: THCP is here to stay. Longer than you think.

Is THCP more potent than THC?

Yes. But not in a brutal way, but in a profound one.

  • With THC you enter a fog, with THCP you enter a crystal-clear world.
  • THC is like a quick kick, THCP is like a deep, slow suck.
  • I felt like my brain had unlocked a new level.

It wasn't just " more THC ", it was different.

How does THCP alter perception?

At some point I noticed that my sense of time was completely gone.

  • Five minutes felt like 30.
  • The music sounded deeper, as if I were sitting in the middle of a concert.
  • My body felt like it was 10 kg heavier – but in a good way.
  • My thoughts went on wild journeys without feeling chaotic.

Fascinating, but not for the faint of heart.

Is there a difference between THCP and HHC / Delta-8?

Oh yes, a gigantic one at that.

  • Delta-8: Chilled, relaxed, perfect for beginners.
  • HHC: Something like THC, but smoother and clearer.
  • THCP: A ticket to a completely different dimension.

If you prefer milder highs, stick with Delta-8 or HHC. THCP is more for experienced users. Or for the adventurous.

What side effects can THCP have?

I was lucky – no serious side effects. But I can well imagine that it might be too much for some.

  • Paranoia? Not for me, but I can imagine it's overwhelming for some people.
  • Heart palpitations? A little – but more like something I just noticed, not frightening.
  • Too strong? Those who take too much could feel trapped in an endless high loop.

My advice: Start slowly . One move. Wait. Then continue.

Is it possible to get used to THCP?

I've only tested THCP a few times, but I imagine that tolerance builds up more slowly than with THC.

  • Regular consumption could weaken the effect.
  • Short breaks could bring the intensity back up.

But honestly? This isn't everyday weed. This is something for special moments.

Is THCP suitable for beginners?

In short? No.

  • If you've never tried THC before – stick with that for now.
  • If you have little experience – try HHC or Delta-8 first.
  • If you still feel brave enough – take a microdose and start with a small amount.

A good tip : Try it at home first in a safe environment.
